Joseph DePeder is Sagemont Tax’s Controller. He oversees all accounting and finance operations, including client collections, vendor payables, payroll, and financial statements. He plays a key role in the company’s strategic financial decision-making.

Prior to Sagemont Tax, Joe worked in public accounting at Crowe LLP as an External Auditor for seven years before starting his own business as an accounting consultant. He majored in Accounting at the University of Dayton and also received his MBA there specializing in Accounting.

Outside of work, Joe is an avid golfer and loves traveling with family and friends. He and his wife Brittany just recently had their first child, a son named Carson and are enjoying their new roles as parents.
